Kristina Råström Brown grew up in Stockholm and trained at Beckmans College of Design, graduating with the Elle Decoration Sweden Design Award.

She has designed for Asplund since graduating — her thesis rug, Krickan, was acquired in 1998 and is still in production, followed by other rugs, including the Loop Rug. Today RÅSTRÖM represents Asplund.

In New York, she spent over twenty years as a creative director. She led the interior design of H&M flagship stores and, most significantly, was Creative Director for Isaac Mizrahi, women’s accessories and home.

Swedish design, however, was always the thread she returned to. RÅSTRÖM brings the two worlds together — a selection of furniture, lighting and rugs from a small group of Swedish brands, including the work of former professors and classmates.

RÅSTRÖM is Swedish design, made with heritage craftsmanship. Made to order in Sweden. Each piece is chosen because it will be worth owning in twenty years.

RÅSTRÖM works exclusively with interior designers and architects. Every client works directly with Kristina.
