Anton Björsing
Anton Björsing studied furniture craft and design at Stenebyskolan and Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies in Stockholm, graduating in 2012, along with interior architecture at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. He founded his own studio in Landskrona, in the southern Swedish province of Skåne, in 2013.
For Gärsnäs, Björsing designed the Simris and Vyn collections for Vyn — Swedish for "the view" — chef Daniel Berlin's Michelin-starred restaurant in Österlen, the same region where Gärsnäs's factory has stood since 1893. The collaboration, which also included ceramist Monica Persdotter, won Årets Formbärare (Design Bearer of the Year), and the Vyn armchair was later awarded Guldstolen (the Golden Chair) in 2025. Björsing was separately named Design Carrier of the Year by Svensk Form in 2024.
