Note Design Studio was founded in Stockholm in 2008 by Johannes Karlström and Cristiano Pigazzini. The name comes from their own aim: to notice, and to be noticed.

The studio works across architecture, interiors, product design, and graphic design, with clients including Zero — for whom Note designed the Elements and Silo lighting series — Klarna, and Hermès.

Note was shortlisted for Interior Designer of the Year at the 2019 Dezeen Awards, and has since received Sköna Hem's Furniture of the Year award in 2021 and Residence Magazine's Stora Formpriset for Product of the Year in 2022.
