Thomas Sandell is a Swedish architect and designer, influential in shaping contemporary design in Sweden since the 90s. He was a founding professor of the Form program at Beckmans College of Design, alongside Jonas Bohlin.

His architectural work includes the Gåshaga Brygga housing development on Lidingö, and interiors for the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Architecture, and the restaurant Rolf's Kök, all in Stockholm.

As a furniture designer, he has worked with Asplund, Gärsnäs, IKEA, and B&B Italia. His work has received "Utmärkt Svensk Form" (Excellent Swedish Design), Sweden's top design honor, eleven times, and the international Red Dot Design Award. He has also served as president of the Swedish Architects' national association, and his work is held in the permanent collection of Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
