About Asplund Rugs
Asplund rugs are not only stylish but also durable, made using the finest materials and techniques. A high-quality rug is easier to maintain and will last for generations.
Asplund's rugs are woven, knotted, or tufted by hand by skilled craftsmen, making each rug unique. Asplund uses superior-quality New Zealand wool as the primary material. The wool is rich in natural fats that give the rugs a beautiful luster while also providing good protection against stains. In some designs, Asplund also combines wool with Tencel for a characteristic look and feel.
Custom Made
Asplund rugs can be customized to fit your specific preferences. The shapes, sizes, patterns, and colors of the designs can be adjusted to meet your needs.
We are pleased to assist you in creating a unique rug that aligns perfectly with your vision, style, and functional needs.

Hand Made & Fair Trade
Asplund has been producing their beautiful rugs working with the same family-owned factory in Mirzapur, India for over 25 years. It is a factory that cares deeply for its employees and their families. Everything is made by hand; from the wool dyed and then tufted, knotted, or woven by hand into beautiful rugs using the finest yarns and techniques.
They are crafted from sustainable natural fiber and proudly embrace Fair Trade practices. The factory is socially engaged, against child labor and pro-education. All purchases benefit local schools in the weavers’ villages and the yarn leftovers are used to make warm vests for homeless children in the colder parts of India.
