Lina Armchair (Swivel Base)

Designed by Fredrik Färg & Emma Marga Blanche 2014/2019.

Lina carries Färg & Blanche's signature approach to construction — treating upholstery the way a tailor treats fabric. The backrest's continuous seam and perforated detailing echo the studio's "wood tailoring" technique, developed using a customized sewing machine to stitch directly through rigid materials.

Armchair with an upholstered seat, available in a selection of Kvadrat fabrics or leather from Tärnsjö, one of Sweden's oldest tanneries, or Elmo, founded in 1931 in Svenljunga, working exclusively with Scandinavian cowhide.

The backrest is made of recycled pressed felt, tailored with perforations and a continuous seam.
