Curve takes its inspiration from the classic emerald-green banker's lamp — a form that became popular in banks, libraries, and offices in the early 1900s, its green shade believed to have a calming effect well suited to concentration, its white inner glass reflecting clean light onto the page below.
Front designed the original installation for the library at Stockholm's Nationalmuseum in 2018, and Curve was later named Lamp of the Year at the 2019 Elle Decoration Swedish Design Award.
This Curve pendant hangs on slim cables, with a 150mm shade in metal or glass. Available in green, white, ivory, or blue.
