Curve D200 Pendant

Designed by Front Design 2019.

Curve takes its inspiration from the classic emerald-green banker's lamp — a form that became popular in banks, libraries, and offices in the early 1900s, its green shade believed to have a calming effect well suited to concentration, its white inner glass reflecting clean light onto the page below.

Front's original installation for the Nationalmuseum library, created in 2018, grew and adapted to its surroundings — some fixtures stretching toward the ceiling before bending down over a reading chair, others making their way from floor to windowsill, curving toward the light. Curve was later named Lamp of the Year at the 2019 Elle Decoration Swedish Design Award.

This Curve pendant hangs on slim cables, with a 200mm shade in metal or glass. Available in green, white, ivory, or blue.
